SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

4.2 SERVICING MOTOR ASSEMBLY
The electric motor assembly is only serviceable as a complete unit. To service motor:
1. Disconnect plug-in on control top from power supply.
2. To remove the motor:
A. Flip cover back.
B. Loosen the screws on terminal strip connector to free motor wires. Pull wires through holes in the mounting
plate weldment.
C. Loosen the four 1/4" nuts and remove bolts fastening the motor to the mount plate weldment.
D. Lift motor off.
E. Loosen the set scres (2) securing the hex coupler and remove the hex coupler.
3. Install the new motor and secure by following the remove the motor instructions in reverse order.

NOTE
Check flex coupler, roller tube, mounting bracket, and
drive head adapter bolts every 50 hours of operation
for tightness and wear. Failure to maintain Failure to
maintain proper tightness may result in damage or
excessive wear of components and/or lost parts.
