One of these photos is not like the other. . .
For a couple of weeks this summer things got a little loud, pretty dusty and a bit smelly as the old chimney was
removed, a new roof installed, and new doors hung throughout the building. I might add that all this occurred with
minimal disruption to daily programming or Meals on Wheels. A special thanks to everyone for your lexibility
when you needed to use a different entrance to the building and when your activity was moved to a different room.
A special thanks: to the Early Childhood program for allowing us to use their classrooms when our rooms were not
accessible; to Chris, Laurie and Doug who moved tables, chairs and equipment necessary for activities to continue
in their temporary locations; and to Doug and Laurie who frantically kept up with the constant cleaning that always
accompanies construction. Now construction is complete, the hallways and rooms are sparkling and best yet, there
have been no leaks despite the heavy rains we have experienced over the past couple of weeks.
