Exciting Winter Ed-Ventures Planned Just for You FlyOver America Pack your bags! Enjoy a simulated light that gives you a bird’s eye view of the Maine countryside, New York City, Niagara Falls, Florida Keys, Minnesota, Glacier Bay Park, Napa Valley, the Golden Gate Bridge, and many other U.S. attractions and landscapes. FlyOver America is an attraction at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. Your “ light” faces a spherical screen and combines the motion of your seat with the special effects of wind, mist and scent to give you the sensation that you are truly soaring. Note: your feet are dangling. Following your “ light,” walk to the FireLake Grill House in the new Radisson Blu Hotel, where you will enjoy a luncheon of your choice of soup, salad and sandwich combinations. Fee includes admission, inclusive lunch, coach bus, and tour guide. A $2-3 gratuity per person is recommended and may be paid directly to the driver following the tour. Start with a 30-minute guided tour of the Minnesota’s Greatest Generation exhibit. Reminisce as you view a vast array of artifacts, displays and hands-on elements that highlight accomplishments, sacri ices, disappointments, challenges, and enduring legacies. Next, you will have an additional hour to explore the other exhibits in the museum. You came for history, now stay for lunch at the newly renovated Market House by D’Amico. This café pays tribute to the irst St. Paul public market that was built in 1852. The menu connects you to Minnesota’s past and present agricultural movement, featuring delicious seasonal salads and sandwiches. The bus departs at 9:30 am from Oak-Land Middle School parking lot (820 Manning Ave N, Lake Elmo—there is no building access to the school) and returns to the same location at approximately 2:00 pm.
