In 1974 DASCH began as a group of families who wanted to
provide community-based support for their family members
with intellectual disabilities as an alternative to institutionalbased services. Today, we provide person-specific supports
for adults and youth in our homes throughout Winnipeg.
DASCH employs over 650 people and together we
support over 350 people with intellectual disabilities
DASCH maintains and operates over 50 homes and
several day programs.
A significant part of our maintenance costs this year will be
replacing old and ineffective windows and doors in all of our
DASCH homes. We are on a drive to make the DASCH homes
as comfortable and energy efficient as possible.
You can support DASCH and the people that we support by
donating the replacement of one or more windows or doors
of your choice.
