Photographer Nila Onda N ila Onda has lived an unconventional life across two continents and produced a multi-faceted body of work ranging from documentary and television news to fine art photography and experimental film. Born in Rome, a cinephile from a tender age and a self-taught photographer, she built her first darkroom at the age of 15. After receiving a B.A. from the European Institute of Design, she relocated to London and ventured in the film industry working in the camera department and as set photographer. Later she specialized in camera operation delivering image content for documentary, news & current affairs. Her work has been broadcasted by major European TV networks including Channel 4 United Kingdom and RAI Italy. She has been featured as a case study camera operator, in the nationwide UK publication ‘ Working in TV, Film and Radio’.
