CYpBER 2013, 1st Int'l Conference for Cyber Security issues in the Oil & Gas industry, was held on 20th of
November in Hilton Park Nicosia Hotel of Cyprus, with a great success. The Conference provided
knowledge and expose strategies in order to improve Security of the Electronics Operations
(Communications & Informatics) in the Oil & Gas industry and managing to bring together government
officials, leading experts from Oil & Natural sector and ITC security professionals.
The opening address was made by the Minister of Communications & Works of the Republic of Cyprus,
Mr Tasos Mitsopoulos. Addresses were made as well by Permanent Secretary, MCW of the Republic of
Cyprus, Mr Alecos Michaelides and Permanent Secretary, MECIT of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr Stelios
Himonas.
