CURVYSTA LETTER

FALL is finally here!

I cannot believe New York Fashion Week came and went.

It seems as if we were preparing all year for it. This was the first year that we had to fight for our runway models time. There were so many plus events to choose from.

Carmakoma crossed the ocean to present their S/S 2015 collection, luxury designer, PLY, Kenneth Doswell of Bettie Jean Couture had a successful showing on 9/5, a blogger swap/shop and of course, there was PNO.

This year we were fortunate to be sponsored by Ashley Stewart for the second time in a row. Our PNO Model Search winner, Wema Enofe is on her way to becoming the successful model she's dreamed of. Look for her in the next few months on AshleyStewart.com.

Personally I've been a fan of Sydney's Closet for years. It's amazing how children inspire parents. Phyllis and Mat Librach started a company because their plus sized daughter could not find a prom dress. I've watched the company grow and we were over the moon for their sponsorship of

PNO 2014. They are as genteel as I imagined. Check out our editorial on my favorite Sydneys Closet gowns featuring several of our PNO runway models.

Another breath of fresh air in the plus market is IDEEL. Recently purchased by Groupon, IDEEL is expanding their plus choices that include Marina Rinaldi, Lafayette 148 and other lower priced options. Don't sleep on this flash sale website and keep your eyes open for our editorial on How to Dress IDEEL, featuring more of the PNO runway models.
