Dance stars and science expo
Three of Curro Academy Mahikeng’s learners, Thabang Mokgehle (Grade 10), Maya Phele (Grade

competition took place in Croatia (Italy) from 21 to 27 May 2018. The standard of the competition
was very high. Twenty five countries took part and South Africa was well represented.
Curro Academy Mahikeng is very proud of all the participants.

Soccer stars in the making
During the September school holidays three players participated in the Curro Nationals at Curro Hillcrest.
These boys were divided into different teams and played with boys from all over the region. Leano Kekae’s team
(Jacarandas under 11A) won the soccer tournament for 2018.
The other two boys’ teams also played excellent matches during this tournament.
Two of the boys were extremely thrilled about the trip, because going to Durban was a first for them. The school took
the opportunity and turned it into a small holiday in-between the busy schedule of playing soccer. This was one fun
week!
