Everyday Tips to Prevent Water Pollution
This winter, we will diversify San Francisco’s water supply by
adding small amounts of groundwater sourced from deep
within the Westside Groundwater Basin. The groundwater will
be mixed with water in our reservoirs, and we will continue
to provide excellent quality drinking water to homes and
businesses throughout San Francisco. This vital project increases
our resilience and supply reliability by adding local water to
our regional supply. Your tap water will still be high quality and
