Did you know that every person lives in a watershed? A watershed is an
area of land from which all creeks, stormwater, and runoff drain to a
shared body of water. To help residents learn about their watershed,
we’ve launched the “Discover Your Watershed” video series, featuring
12 local storytellers sharing the unique histories of the City’s eight
urban watersheds.
You can discover more about your watershed through interactive maps
featuring historic watersheds and water bodies, points of interest to visit
today, and the SSIP projects underway to improve the sustainability of our
