— Be Rain Ready!
There’s no better time to get rain ready than during the dry months of
summer and early fall. Our RainReadySF strategy prepares our combined
sewer system for the rainy season and when heavy rains are imminent.
You can take advantage of the resources we offer to help reduce the
risk of flooding. Residents and businesses can purchase FEMA-backed
low-cost flood insurance, apply for a Floodwater Grant that can
reimburse property owners up to $100,000 for implementing flood-
proofing projects on their properties, and participate in our Adopt a
Drain program by helping to keep storm drains and streets clean.
