Nobody Deals with More Crap Than I Do
Yes, **it happens every day. And I deal with it.
Along with everything else that goes down
household and business drains. I also handle
all the rain that goes down the 25,000 catch
basins around the City. Did I mention that I’m
really, really old?
But here’s the kicker: flushing the wrong stuff
down the drain can cause costly, messy clogs,
harm various parts of my sewer system, and
even pollute the Bay and ocean.
What can you do? Flush only human waste
and toilet paper (The 3 Ps – pee, poop and
toilet paper). Toilets aren’t trash cans! No
wipes (even disposable or “flushable”), floss,
medications, feminine products, or disposable
