About Heather:
Heather was a longtime partner in the
family’s pedorthic shoe business: The
PSNE Group. The business originally
opened in 1974 to provide services
to those individuals who had special
footwear needs. Heather spent many
hours in the store growing up, helping
wherever she was needed. In recent
years, she was in the process of
taking over the day-to-day and buying
operations. Heather had a passion for
her dogs, friends and family. She was
also an accomplished cross-stitch-er
and would spend hours making gifts
for family and friends. Above all, she
loved people, had a kind heart and
always put the feelings and needs of
others before her own. Many of you
will remember her beautiful smile
that she always wore.
Heather died peacefully in her
sleep while recovering from ankle
surgery. She was only 30 years old.
It made sense to the family to ask
the Pedorthic Foundation to create a
scholarship fund because education
meant so much to Heather, Aaron and
the rest of her extended family.
It is in dedication to Heather’s
advocacy for pedorthics and
education that the Pedorthic
Foundation is honored to establish
the Heather Moore Bernard
Scholarship Fund in her memory.
