there will not be juggling).
The Exhibit Hall will be filled
with your favorite vendors
and some you may not yet be
familiar with, but whom you
will definitely want to get to
know. Of course there is also
my favorite aspect-- getting
together with old friends that
we don’t get to see nearly as
much as we would like to, as
well as meeting new ones.
Speaking of new friends, we
will also be hosting some
international guests, more so
than usual. That is a testament
to PFA’s appeal to pedorthists
and prospective pedorthists
around the world.
Your PFA board has been working hard to give you an organization
that protects your right to practice as a pedorthist, as well as
continuously trying to bring you the best value in member benefits.
We now have two people sitting on the Medicare council; previously
we had one. We sent a second representative to ensure our voices
were heard at an O&P legislative conference in Washington, DC.
Others went to a coding meeting with APMA. All of these things
are done for you as a pedorthist by the only organization that strictly
represents pedorthists. We are always looking for better values for
our members which is why we will be rolling out a new program
for your credit card processing needs. Watch your email later this
month for more information on that exciting and money saving
benefit! We have more projects we are working on and could
always use more help, especially on the Publishing, Marketing and
Membership committees. For those of you who are members, we
thank you for being a part of the PFA family, and to all who read
