This holiday season the Lincoln Children’s
Zoo, in partnership with Lincoln Electric
System, will be transformed into one of the
largest light shows in the Midwest!
The brand new experience will include a
34-foot Christmas tree, over 30 lit animal
silhouettes, 1 mile of path lights, hot
cocoa, train rides, a light tunnel and a
40-foot dancing tree with even more
lights.

children and adults with nature
while creating life-long memories.”
said Zoo President & CEO John
Chapo.
“Zoo Lights will continue
that tradition by providing a
destination for thousands
of Nebraskans to visit
their Lincoln Children’s
Zoo and celebrate the holidays. We are proud
that this community event will be ‘powered by
LES,’” Chapo said.
