Muchos inmigrantes venimos a Estados Unido de diferentes
partes del globo. Pero especialmente de los países latinoamericanos,
la necesidad de brindarles una mejor calidad de vida a los nuestros
nos hace dejar atrás a nuestras familias, amigos, costumbres y
tradiciones, muchas veces no solo dejamos lo que mas queremos
atrás, sino que también arriesgamos nuestras vidas al cruzar la
frontera.
Muchos de nosotros seguimos contribuyendo a nuestros países,
mandando remesas a los nuestros con la ilusión de algún día regresar
y disfrutar con nuestra familia nuestros esfuerzos obtenidos de
nuestro trabajo.
Otros preferimos establecernos aquí, ya sea encontrando nuestra
pareja y hacer nuestra familia o traemos a nuestras familias con el
sueño de mejorar nuestra calidad de vida.
Muchas veces nuestra necesidad nos hace trabajar lo doble y
aunque sentimos la discriminación por parte de algunos seguimos
trabajando arduamente, la barrera del idioma y de no poder expresar
lo que sentimos o lo que creemos que es correcto nos hace a veces
flaquear, pero siempre salimos adelante con el apoyo de nuestras
familias, así como de gente que cree en nosotros.
Por eso, si ya lo arriesgaste todo; incluso tu vida ATREVETE a
supérate cada día aprende, esfuérzate no solo en el trabajo, estudia,
prepárate rétate a ti mismo.
Recuerda que todo conocimiento aprendido siempre te llevara a
mejorar tu vida familiar, así como mejorar tus oportunidades
laborales. Y nunca olvides que tu puedes llegar hasta adonde tu
quieras porque tu te lo mereces se feliz.
Dare to
Many immigrants we come to the United States from different parts
of the world, but specifically from Latin America. The neediness to
offer a better life to our families makes us to leave behind many
things like our families, friends and traditions. Many times, we do not
just leave behind what we love; we also risk our life coming through
the borderline illegally.
Many of us keep sending money to our motherland with the hope to
go back someday and enjoy what we have worked.
On the other hand, many of us decide to stay here either one finding
the right person to form a family, or bring our family with the dream
to give them the life that they never had before.
Many times, we have to make an extra effort and although we feel the
discrimination from some people, we keep working hard, many of us
feel the language barrier, because we cannot express what we really
want or what we think is right, but we keep going because we know
that we have our families and friends support.
Therefore, if you already risked everything coming here including
your life, DARE to prepare yourself, learn, be an active person, not
only in your job, study. Get education, challenge yourself, help others,
be together
Remember, that all knowledge that you get will lead you to have a
better life and have more chances to get a better job.
In addition, do not be afraid, you can go as far as you want, because
you deserve it be happy.
