into Google Images, the know-it-all engine will come
up with a bunch of models, but few are as pretty
as WOOD.b bikes by the Strasbourg-based bicycle
designers Thierry Boltz and Claude Saos. Constructed
to meet European safety standards, they’re fit for the
road, can endure a fair amount of weight and put
up with feisty weather. What’s more, they can do
this while retaining their attractive ‘make-up’, and
thus successfully combine functionality and beauty.
They’re also hand-made in France, constructed from
a hybrid of traditional metal components and wood.
