The words, images and videos inside issue 03 of Cult of Self
Magazine are a celebration of individuality and authenticity. And
this is one celebration that’s had its notches turned up. We’ve
turned your ‘reading experience’ into an audio-visual journey filled
with ready-to-watch videos and image slideshows - content that is
perfect for all iOS and Android devices!
As you’ll see, there’s some shit-hot skate content in this issue.
One video to watch when you’ve got a bit of time to kick back
is “Skateboarding in La Paz”, a doccie about the building of the
skatepark in Bolivia that Levi’s® was a part of. Make sure you check
out the event video and images from the Levi's® DIY Skate Jam in
Edenvale, Jozi.
“No Sketches. No Stencils. No Limits” - read our interview with
freehand tattoo artist Jay Freestyle; and then take some time to
indulge in images of the motorcycle design from artist-designer
Sebastian Errazuriz in “TIME-LAPSE”. You’ll also get to meet ‘Denny’,
the could-be future bike for those riding two-wheelers; and if you’re
into your wood, well then saddle up for a short film about BSG’s
wooden bicycle!
Want to surf tequila? Well, now’s your chance! el Jimador has a
beautiful handcrafted 100 % Agave board that could have your
name on it. If you’re confused by what we mean about ‘surfing
tequila’, you won’t be after board-shaper and surfer Ian Armstrong
lays it down for you in his video interview.
Have you entered #YourINK yet? There’s still time to turn the
spotlight on your tattoo and win a professional photoshoot plus
Levi’s® ICON gear. We give you the lowdown and also reveal
some of the submissions to keep you amp’d.
