saving lives with project lifesaver By Kelly Wheeler Every time you read a newspaper, turn on the TV news or browse social media, it is increasingly com- mon to come across a missing per- son’s report. Th s ever-present risk is far too real for caregivers of persons with dementia as this dangerous scenario presents itself frequently in the news. An example was recently seen in another state where an elderly woman named ‘Virginia’ woke up in the middle of the night to fi d her husband, ‘Donald’ had disappeared.
