With his new perspective, Crocker said work is more enjoyable. “There are so many things I enjoy relat- ed to being attorney, and one is teaching,” he said. “For four years, I was a law professor at Birmingham School of Law where I taught evidence, which is an important part of any case and the presentation in the courtroom. I enjoying visiting other courthouses and seeing some of the students I knew, seeing their careers under way and doing well.” After serving two consecutive terms as the Cullman Regional Foundation chairman, Crocker in now chairman of the Cullman County Community Development Commis- sion, which disperses TVA in-lieu of tax money to local agencies. “I think there are always a lot of ways to give service to the community. That’s something I believe in. And I know that I feel more produc- tive than ever by becoming healthier,” Crocker said. “I don’t mean this in a lecturing way, but get- ting priorities established opens the door for an overall better life, in health, relationships, faith and personal satisfaction.” C
