OER SPOTLIGHT
The Center for Teaching Excellence is organizing a group to participate in help through EFSC , as well as through the places that they shop . The following is a partial list of those offering services or financial help . Please contact your favorite merchant or institution to see what assistance they might be able to provide if you need help .
Curbside and / or Delivery is offered by many stores in our area . Publix , Walmart , Target , Home Depot , CVS , Total Wine , Sam ’ s Club , ABC Fine Wine and Spirits , and Aldi are among the stores offering pick-up and / or delivery services .
Credit Card Payment Help is offered by merchants such as Home Depot , Bloomingdale ’ s , Macy ’ s , Best Buy , and Kohls . Most merchants ask that customers who have been financially impacted by COVID-19 contact them , and they often have a secure messaging option on their credit card website .
CARES Act Help is available through EFSC to students who have been impacted by the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19 . Faculty should encourage students who may need help with technology , course materials , food , housing , healthcare , or childcare to apply for emergency grant funding through CARES . To do so , EFSC students should log in to the myEFSC Student Services Portal and use the CARES Act Student Emergency Funding link to determine eligibility and to apply online .
