2016 CSGA Club Champions

Kitty Walker , of Rolling Meadows Country Club claimed the title of Women ’ s Club Champion by holing out for an eagle . With nine holes to play in the 36 hole stroke play championship , Walker was five strokes behind three time defending champion Dominique Fox . The two juggled the lead back and forth for much of the back nine , both parring the final hole to send the championship into a playoff . With a crowd of spectators watching , Walker holed her third shot into the par-5 to take the title . The hole out was the longest of Walker ’ s golfing career , “ I had never holed out from more than 30 yards , so to do so from 130 yards with the gallery watching and the pressure of a club championship on the line was very exciting .”
