2016 Junior Golf Results
JUNIOR TRI-STATE MATCHES
For the first time in CSGA history six of the best
junior players in Connecticut competed in the 2016 Girls Junior
Tri-State Matches held at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst,
Massachusetts. The matches, which take place annually,
between Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts,
have been ongoing since 1959, and rotate between the three
participating states. Team Connecticut, which last won the
annual matches in 2012 (Quidnessett CC, RI), was represented
in 2016 by Elizabeth Garfield (Fairfield), Mia Grzywinski
(Farmington), Maisie Filler (Bloomfield), Sarah Houle (Sandy
Hook), Gabrielle Martin and Erin Schroeder (both of Madison).
