Trustees
Material Aid Trust Fund
This Trust Fund was formed in September 1993 to manage
donated money for emergency relief distribution.
Funds from the trust have been used during this time to purchase
non-perishable grocery items and shopping vouchers for special
festive hampers - given to families and individuals - along with
the purchasing of gifts and other items for young people in need.
Trustees are responsible for all donated funds to the Frankston
Community Appeal, also referred to as the annual Christmas
Hamper Appeal, which last year oversaw the distribution of 580
hampers to Frankston families in need.
The Trustees meet quarterly with the agency’s Treasurer and
Manager to receive reports and monitor the progress of the Trust
Funds.
The Frankston Community Appeal will be entering its 28th year
in 2018.
