Arts Intensives! These full and half-day options offer a variety of shorter experiences with
the same high-quality instruction. Mix and match for a summer full of creativity!
Please note, intensives vary in start date, length, and duration, and enrollment in
One-Week Arts Intensives can conflict with enrollment in Five-Week Arts Camps.

CREATIVE WRITING
Fiction Writing (Ages 11-15)
Students will have the chance to craft and workshop their short stories and novels in a
rigorous, pre-professional setting. The goal of this workshop is to help students produce a
portfolio of polished material suitable for submission to magazines and academic creative
writing programs.
Dates: Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

FILM & TELEVISION
Television Production Skills (Ages 11-15)
Students will learn television production skills from industry professionals. While working
in a professional multi-camera television studio, students will receive a unique, hands-
on experience while writing, directing, and editing short television shows and news
broadcasts. The students in this class will work with the summer Acting for the Camera
students. It is recommended that students take this class in conjunction with the Film
Production Skills course.
Dates: Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Film Production Skills (Ages 11-15)
Students will learn film production skills alongside other future filmmakers. Under the
guidance of film industry professionals and in collaboration with our summer Acting for
the Camera students, these young storytellers will write, direct, and edit a short film. It is
recommended that students take this class in conjunction with the Television Production
Skills course.
Dates: Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12
