ARTS CAMPS
Classes meet Monday – Friday for five weeks
June 24, 2019 – July 26, 2019
(No classes July 4-5, 2019)
Students can enroll in morning classes, afternoon classes,
or both for a full day of arts engagement

Creative Writing (Ages 8-15)
Students will be introduced to a broad spectrum of creative writing genres, from
poetry and fiction to dramatic writing. Over the course of five weeks, students
will work on creative writing fundamentals while developing their own creative
voice. Students will produce their own original work to be published in an anthology
at the end of the session.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Ages 8-15)
1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Ages 8-13)

Dance Fusion (Ages 8-15)
Students will be exposed to a wide variety of dance styles, including but not limited to
jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballroom, and contemporary. In addition to their regular summer
camp instructors, students will have the opportunity to work with a different guest
choreographer each week!
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Ages 8-11)
1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Ages 12-15)

Please Note: The dance showcase for this class is scheduled outside of class
time on Friday, July 26 at 4:30 p.m. Participation in this culminating performance is
strongly encouraged, so please plan your schedule accordingly.
Digital Art & Design (Ages 11-15)
Intended to be a one-stop introduction to making artwork digitally, students will learn
how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to accomplish basic design
projects, such as logo design, t-shirt design, posters, and more! Students interested
in this class might also enjoy Video Game Design, Animation, or one of our Character
Design courses.
