Start Something.

[I Dare You!]

Before you get your .com, Wordpress blog, or pursue the wild and wonderful ocean of social media, do the ground work. Grab a pen and paper, and establish these three very important things:

1) Your Purpose/Mission Statement for Your Project.

What is your "WHY"? What is going to get you out of bed every morning and motivate you to move forward with your vision?

Your "WHY" has to be bigger than fears, laziness, boredom, or burnout.

2) Visualize Your End Result.

You must have a beautiful, glorious reward waiting for you

at the end. If the biggest, craziest dreams of yours could come to pass through your website, what do you want that to look like? What are you trying to build? Keep inspiration nearby, whether it is actual images of what you're modeling your project after, or a mental vision of how you want your clients/customers/readers

to feel when they experience whatever it is you are offering. I love to use Pinterest to display my visions and keep them out where I can clearly see them, so that I know what I am working toward

on a daily basis.

3) Start Asking Questions.

Create a list of people who are doing what you'd like to do, and are doing it WELL. Then, try to get in contact with as many people on your list as possible. Go for the big dogs! If they are celebrities, musical artists, authors or successful people of any kind...don't feel intimidated. )

God's love is like the ocean. You can experience as much or as little of it as you choose. You can come at Him with a thimble, a cup, or a even a ginormous bucket! But to the same degree that you wish to be filled up...you have to empty yourself.

Every single day, Crown of Beauty Magazine is on the move. Articles are being written. Conference events are being planned. Princess Sisters are encouraging one another. New ministries are being birthed. Missions are being ignited, and inspiration is overflowing!

This Fall, dozens of girls signed up for our online Crown of Beauty Training, and learned what fuels this project.

It isn't expresso shots, or energy drinks. It's not perfect people who desire fame or a pat on the back. So why do we do what we do? Why should ANY of us have a mission? What motivates us and moves us forward?
