Hannah continues, "I used to have this idea that God was angry with me. I thought that the circumstances in my life were His way of punishing me, and that I’d done something very awful in my childhood to make Him not like me. But that is far from the truth! He doesn't only love us with an immeasurable amount of love… He truly LIKES us! He likes spending time with us, talking to us, teaching us. We were created to have a natural friendship with the Lover of our souls! Since coming back to Jesus, it has been a very long journey of changing my mindset to understand His ways and His attributes. I am learning, everyday, that He has crazy love for us!! There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING that could separate us from the love that He has for us. We are His perfect masterpiece, created and being ever transformed into His image. We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. He longs for only one thing…. Our hearts."

Girl On A Mission

“'God will turn your mess into a message.' I’ve heard this countless times since becoming a born again believer. I definitely believe it rings true. When you live through something that was once your passion, I don’t think that passion ever leaves. I believe it’s simply channeled in another way. What once held you bound, I think God eventually uses for good. My past in Islam undoubtedly has affected my passion to preach the Gospel to Muslims now. I was one of them. It hurts my heart to know that there are nearly 2 billion Muslims in the world that don’t know the Love of Christ. They don’t know just who He is and what He did for them. They don’t know that there’s a Father in Heaven that is yearning for their hearts. They don’t know that He DIED, that they might live eternally."

I have to ask the question, "Does it scare you to think about how much hostility there is in the Muslim community toward Christians? And why do you still want to witness to them with so many threats and dangers that could possibly come against you?"

"It does make me anxious to think about the hostility in the Muslim world. However, I am not afraid. I know Who goes before me, and I know Who stands behind. The Lord does not send us onto the battlefield without first equipping us for the good work He has called us to. The Qur'an is very clear about killing infidels and those that become apostates in their eyes. It actually states, “Disbelief is worse than killing…” It is no secret that the Islamic world is full of hatred and contempt toward Christians. It is also stated in the Qur'an that fighting is “prescribed” to Muslims. This hate-filled way of life toward others makes me all the more eager to share the Love-filled Gospel with them! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world…We cannot live life afraid of what could happen. We should be beacons of hope to the world, attesting to He who lives in us! “For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die.” [ Philippians 1:20]"
