3. The Controlling Frog

This frog's dangerous. Well, all frogs are dangerous, but this one especially. He has control issues because deep down he's insecure. He feels a sick sense of power if he can get you to bend to his will. And if you give him your body, he becomes really controlling because now he thinks you're some object that belongs to him, rather than the precious daughter of God he is entrusted with to protect and care for. If you don't want to become emotionally or physically abused, RUN from this frog ASAP!

4. The Deceitful Frog

This frog knows how to lie! He's a great actor. If you're not careful, he can even trick you into thinking he's a Christian. He's a frog in prince's clothing and can use his words to deceive you. Don't be fooled by his sweet talk but study his "fruit." Is he tempting you to do impure things with him? Does he try to justify sinning? Make sure you never ignore red flags; and that goes for any guy. If you're a Christian, the Holy Spirit will warn you about a boy who's trying to pursue you, yet isn't a prince of God's kingdom. No matter how cute the frog, do not ignore those signs, or you will get slimed. Worst of all, you may end up marrying a frog and never return to Jesus again.

So who should I be looking for?

The Rescued Frog

Here's a guy who lets Jesus save him and thus he is transformed from a frog into a prince. He isn't perfect like the King, but since he follows Jesus he will love you better than any frog ever can. Not only will he love you like the princess you are, but he will cause you to grow closer to Jesus, not drag you farther away from Him like frogs do. That's the kind of man you want as a husband; one who is a genuine Christian, who has died to his old froggy ways and is now a prince in God's kingdom. He truly desires to live for God. How you can tell a true prince from a frog? By his fruit. Does he obey Jesus and walk like Him? Is he patient, kind, gentle, self-controlled, loving and peaceful? Does he want to wait for you until marriage because he knows to do otherwise is sin?

A prince will protect your heart, not break it. He will respect you, not take advantage of you.
