canvas of history ever since the Garden of Eden. Your role on Earth is about so much more than yourself. The baton has been passed on to you and God wants to continue writing His Story! He wants to see His dream come to pass, and that requires you to follow the inner road map of desires and dreams in your heart! We have a
great cloud of witnesses cheering us on, encouraging us to run the race set before us! Moses, Joseph, Esther...all of those folks were given a tiny sliver of God's big dream, and they were found faithful. Our lives are the same way. We only have an allotted number of days to do the things God has planted inside us, so GO FOR IT.
Don't wait for someone's permission to write your first book, build an orphanage or start your own business. It is vital that you live the unique role that God has set before you. Your dream doesn't look like my dream because your personality is
totally different from mine; that's awesome! You might like numbers and I might
like music, but we need both of our dreams to fulfill God's BIG dream.
Daniel lived in a very crooked and perverse culture, just like we do. Daniel understood, however, the secret of Romans 12:2, even though he lived before that scripture was written and revealed to Paul! “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of you mind. Then you will be able to test and approve God's will. His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
If we, like Daniel, can dive into the Word of God and allow our minds to daily be changed and transformed by Him, we won't live or think like this world. If we live in this counter-culture, according to the Kingdom of Heaven, we will shine like stars in the universe! (See Philippians 2:14-15). Living as daughters of the Most High sets us apart from the patterns and mind-sets
of this world. Those around us might not always like what they see but when we light up, they will most certainly take note.
“In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them [Daniel and his friends] ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.” Daniel 1:20
One man’s life can have in immeasurably huge impact! You are royalty, therefore you were predestined to have influence. I challenge you to step out into the world and live a radically different life. You never know who is watching you, following you and will choose to live like you. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:5
