To Make:

1.      Pour the almond milk and porridge oats into a small saucepan and add the coconut oil, flaxseed, maca, banana and cacao, mix altogether and leave to soak.

2.      Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

3. Heat up the pan on the stove via medium heat and mix with a wooden spoon  until the oats are heated through.

4.     Pour the oats into an oven-proof bowl and put in the oven to bake for 5 minutes.

5.     After 5 minutes take out of the oven and add your favourite fruits and toppings. I love to add berries, desiccated coconut, almonds, coconut sugar and cocao nibs.

Enjoy!

Real Beauty

Is Not

A

Competition

C

Society's idea of beauty is based around  perfection. The standards they hold are so high, yet they are impossible to reach, even if we stood on our tippy toes and lunged up with the tips of our fingers. Why are we trying to conquer them? Why are we always comparing ourselves to one another? Why does beauty turn into a competition?

But real beauty is NOT a competition, and it’s not about reaching perfection either.

So many people don’t understand what real beauty is. It’s not just appearance. Real beauty is kind, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love.
