Trust that God knows what He is doing. He is gardening your heart, pulling the weeds out and flicking them far away. He is watching as His desires bloom in your heart.
Now when you hear people say, “Hey girl! Follow the desires of your heart!”, you can place your hands on your hips, take a deep breath, and say to yourself, “No. They aren’t my desires. They are desires planted in my heart, but they are the desires of God.”
Take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

What was your childhood dream?
Samantha: "When I was younger, what I wanted to be changed forms from day to day. For the most part though, I longed to juggle motherhood, a science career, and homeschooling. Now that I actually comprehend that each is a full-time job in itself, I want to pursue a science and writing career until God calls me to raise a family."
What is your biggest dream for the future?
Samantha: "I would love to have a large family with both biological and adopted children and a loving, godly husband, living in a renovated plantation home in the deep South. I want to homeschool and do some writing on the side. I’d also like to be ‘on call’ for the local sheriff’s office if they need a forensic anthropologist for a case. I want to go to a little brick church that sings hymns as well as contemporary stuff. But, above all, I want Christ to be praised, honored, and glorified through my life no matter what He decides. "
