Crown of Beauty: What are some Bible verses or passages that the Lord has been using to speak to you, and encourage you with lately? Anything you want to share?

Jana: One of my favorite passages is Psalm 37:3-7... “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.”

It speaks about Trusting the Lord, Delighting in Him and Resting in Him. Which comes down to being content and joyful with where Christ has you! I believe we will all go through times of learning to be content wherever we are in life, whether you are a young kid waiting to be finished with school, a young person waiting to get married, then once married, waiting to have a child, then waiting for your children to grow up.

Wherever we are in life there will be places we need to learn to be content. CONTENTMENT is realizing that God has provided everything I need for my present happiness.

“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement." 1 Peter 3:4-6
