The Crowley ISD Heartbeat Team recognizes employees who display heart as they go above and beyond their job description , inspiring other employees through their extraordinary work ethic . Heartbeat Team members are nominated only by other district employees . One winner will be selected monthly throughout the school year .
On Cara Hyatt :
“ She ’ s an amazing person to work with and a great mentor for me . At the middle school level , we want to prepare students for high school and she has helped us do that on our campuses . It ’ s great to know that when you build these relationships on a middle-school level , that the students will feed into high school to someone amazing like her .”

The Heartbeat Team Award is sponsored in part by Crowley ISD community partners EECU and Inspire Salon / Spa . The monthly award winner receives $ 50 cash courtesy of EECU , a spa gift card for a custom facial courtesy of Inspire Salon / Spa and is recognized at a Crowley ISD School Board of Trustees meeting .
