“I have been involved with Derbyshire CCC
for a number of years now. I first got involved
by sponsoring the giant stumps near the
ground to promote the women’s T20 World
Cup. Since then I have sponsored a number
of players and currently support Alex Hughes.
I am a member of Derbyshire CCC and
its great to be involved with the club I have
supported for years. Alex is also a product of
the academy at Derbyshire CCC. I get down
to as many games as I can and it has been
great to watch Derbyshire CCC perform well
this season.
Derbyshire CCC is a community club and
it’s great to get down and watch games in a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Derby Trim
Repairs would like to wish both Alex and
everyone associated with Derbyshire CCC
squad all the very best for the season and keep
up the great work bringing players through the
foundations and academies.”
John Byrne
also help to provide a lot of positive
publicity within the local area.
“Our ambitions for the foundation
are firstly to successfully merge
with the Cricket Board which will
allow us to grow and provide more
programmes and activities for the
wider community. Once we do that
we should be in a good position to go
from strength from strength.”
