DENVER, COLORADO’S DANCE TROUP
The Idomeneas Youth Dance group consists of three
different groups. The youngest includes members
from first through fifth grade, the middle group is
comprised of sixth through eighth graders, and
their adult group includes ninth graders and up. The
original dance group was created by Katina Tsapakis in the late 1970s, early 1980s. Originally, Denver
had a young adults group, which later evolved into
a larger group that encompassed high school and
adult youth. The younger dance groups were created in
