conference, online scholarship applications, online KriKri (and later KPHTH Magazine) submission form, online conference sponsorship form, etc. He has also worked on researching the Google Business Suite and the massive benefits it can offer to both PYA and PAA alike. Through Vaggelis’ research, the youth is pushing to leverage even more of the services that Google has to offer. • Philanthropic Committee: Our Philanthropic Committee Chair, Matthaios Daoutis, has been working closely with his committee, as well as through the guidance of the East and West Coast Youth Supervisors, Xanthippi Gelasakis and Terry Stratoudakis, to put together a project in Crete to benefit the orphanage, Apokatastashs Atomon me Eidikes Anaykes. This is a project Xanthippi has continued from her past terms on the board, and is now working with Matthaios on its implementation. Xanthippi is the chair of this event in Crete, as she is working closely with individuals in Crete and is the most knowledgeable on the event. This event aims to host a glendi in Crete, with proceeds going to the orphanage. Through their hard work and dedication, we have continued to benefit the orphanage mentioned above every year for the past three years. The event is set to take place on Monday, August 4. For more details or to donate, please contact Matthaios or Xanthippi. The committee, as well as the legal advisor, are working on fine-tuning these edits, and will then present them to the PYA board at the next PYA board meeting, where they will be finalized by the board and presented on the floor of the next PYA Winter Conference. Through the efforts of Christo, John and the Constitution Committee, future boards need not spend time and effort on major constitutional reform. In addition to the items mentioned above, the board and I are continuing to work toward our overall goals of increasing membership participation, and internal reform of the inner workings of the board. We aim to make the transition of future boards easier by standardizing our processes and procedures and providing the next board with documentation. We can provide this documentation quickly and easily through our continued use of Google drive. We also aim to increase the interest of our members in the workings of the board by engaging them more by having one-on-one conversations with the PYA chapter presidents. This effort is being led by the East and West Coast Vice Presidents, Christo Markakis and Alex Sargetis. Christo and Alex are working on engaging the presidents one on one, making sure their concerns are being addressed, and ensuring that the board is being supportive enough to their respective chapter. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the PYA Treasurer, Manoli Liodakis, in resolving the issues we previously had with our bank account. His assistance with this issue was crucial in order to make sure PYA funds are in order. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the PYA Secretary, Mary Papadakis, who has assisted me in standardizing the agenda, as well as other documents, and assisted me in keeping the Google drive updated, and the PYA Board documents organized. As you can see, we have a dedicated youth board full of hardworking individuals and dedicated board members. I am pr
