Early Graduation
Students who have completed state and local graduation requirements may exit with an official final transcript at the end of 1 st semester their senior year . Students who complete graduation requirements early may participate in graduation exercises at the end of the school year . Students who will meet all graduation requirements and wish to exit early should submit an application for early graduation to the principal at the end of the junior year .
North Carolina Academic Scholars Program
Recognition The students who qualify for this special recognition :
• will be designated by the State Board of Education as North Carolina Academic Scholars .
• will receive a seal of recognition attached to their diplomas .
• may use this special recognition in applying to post-secondary institutions .
