WELCOME FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Welcome to the Crest Academy. We are a non-denominational, non-selective academy open to girls
and boys from all backgrounds aged 11 to 18. We believe that at the Crest Academy every student
will be ready for university and every student will be a leader.
We also believe that the academy will take its rightful place at the heart of the community it serves as a
school of first choice for students and parents. We aim to achieve this vision by our commitment to the
academy’s core values:

accountability.
We offer our students a first class education based on high quality teaching and learning. All our
teachers and leaders expect the highest standards from all involved in the academy. They are highly
skilled professionals who understand what it takes to ensure that every student achieves the best
outcomes they can no matter what their starting point.
As part of the E-ACT network of schools, we have access to outstanding educational resources and
expertise to help provide exceptional opportunities for our students. In September 2014 we moved into
our stunning new building that offers state of the art facilities and outstanding learning opportunities.
The academy enjoys excellent modern classrooms, laboratories, workshops and studios and 2 full sized
sports halls with additional outdoor facilities.
As the academy’s Principal I am absolutely committed to our aims and values and enabling our
students to achieve their ambitions.
