8-11 year olds Writing
for Teens Class Act Drama
Academy This class is perfect for further
developing your child’s artistic skills
and techniques. During the term we
will focus on a number of different
projects through a variety of mediums,
including everything from painting and
drawing to collage and sculptural work.
This class will also help to develop
observational skills as well as team
work with a few group projects. Using a series of fun, structured
exercises, young writers will be guided
week by week to develop their craft.
Workshops will focus on narrative,
plotting, character, setting, description,
and dialogue, with structured writing
sessions each week in a variety of
forms and genres, and leading to the
production of an eBook featuring the
participants’ best work (as selected by
each young author). Class Act Drama Academy teaches
performance and life skills. Students
develop at their own pace, whether
they are superstars or in need of a
confidence boost. The all-inclusive
curriculum offers every student the
chance to shine when imagination and

In this dynamic course children can
explore music from many approaches:
learning about famous composers,
singing and dancing, listening different
music styles and even becoming little
luthiers and making their own
instruments! A great combination to let
develop your children’s musical skills!
