Want to paint a specific image but
In this painting workshop we will
explore aspects of single-pose figure
study. Working with the life model, we
will elaborate on efficient methods to
quick and accurate colour mixing for a
harmonious and direct approach to
figure painting. This workshop aims to
help students become more decisive,
fluid, and expressive as well as dealing
with problems that arise, embracing
alternative solutions and exploring
ideas as they present themselves.

Experience basket weaving with locally
sourced willow to make your own
round shopper with handle in this
weekend workshop. Under the expert
guidance of basket maker and craft
tutor Sabine Wolniczak of Beaghmore
Baskets you will learn the basic
techniques involved in this intricate
ancient craft and return home with
your own woven basket. An absorbing
and incredibly satisfying activity which
makes you forget all your troubles for
one day, leaving you with a sense of
achievement.

weeklong workshop is for students of
all abilities who wish to improve and
work on the subject they are interested
in. Bring your own theme to work with

advanced knowledge of painting is
required.

Workshop Advance Booking Required
This week long workshop will give
students the chance to focus on
developing oil painting techniques. We
will be working on brush techniques,
alla prima painting (wet on wet),
colour theory, composition, painting
with added mediums, impasto
painting with palette knives, glazing
and more. Please bring a high-quality
image of a landscape that inspires you.
Materials are not included for the class
but a list of what you will need shall be
emailed to students in advance.
