Fabric Pictures Painting with
Oils Beginners DIY Silkscreen
Printing Drawing and
Painting
Take time out each week and spend an
hour enjoying the gentle art of hand
sewing, applique and simple
embroidery. You will complete a hand
stitched fabric picture, which will be
mounted and framed. You will need to
bring some small scissors to class. During these classes we will focus on
learning and developing oil painting
techniques that will help you to create
beautiful paintings. We will cover
blending and brush techniques,
composition, colour theory, layering,
light placement and more. Suitable for
beginners or those new to oils.
Materials are not included for the class
but a list of what you will need will be
emailed to students in advance. Create silkscreen prints using
techniques that you can do at home.
Learn how to prepare images for
printing, create a registry and various
methods for enhancing your finished
designs. During the course you will
print your very own t-shirt, tote bag
and artwork. The class aims to be fun,
informal and very practical. A course that covers the basics of
drawing and painting that helps the
student/artist build a body of work,
and that provides opportunities to
develop and explore a personal vision
through art. This class will suit all levels
of ability.
This class will introduce techniques and
approaches to Life Drawing that are
designed to enhance observation,
awareness and creativity. The lessons
are conducted in a friendly, supportive
environment where beginners, regular
practitioners and students building
portfolios are welcome and
encouraged. No class 10 May.
