The Laminu is a slow form of the Balboa .
It arose in California in the late 1940s , and was most probably conceived by dancers who were already dancing the Balboa .
It is suitable for dancing to slower swing tunes .
No dance experience or partner necessary .

Originating in the early 20th century , blues dancing experienced a revival in the 1980 / 90s at some of the larger swing dance camps . It focuses on fluid and rhythmic elements , helping you find your own connection to both the music and to your dance partner , sparking your unique creativity . It is suitable for dancing to blues music . No dance experience or partner necessary .
