Workshop:
Long Pose
This is a Long Pose workshop in which
the model will maintain the same pose
for the whole session. It is suitable for
experienced artists, as it provides the
opportunity to complete a painting or
drawing, but it is also suitable for those
who wish to do many quick drawings.
All materials/media welcome.

Watercolour
and Wet Media
Explore the creative possibilities of
watercolour paint, drawing ink and
water-soluble pencils! The workshop
will begin with an introduction to
media and surfaces and will be
followed by practical explorations:
creating samples and using observed
still life objects as source material,
easing a transition from drawing to
painting. This workshop will give you
confidence to try these creative
approaches in your own work. Suitable
for beginners and those with some
experience who wish to expand their
use of media.

Autumn Flowers Paint Your Own
Unique Artwork Gift Wrapping
with Style
Want to paint a specific image but
have never got the chance, the support
or the basic materials to do so? This
workshop is for students of all abilities
who wish to improve and work on the
subject they are interested in. Bring
your own theme to work with and get
lots of one-to-one encouragement and
guidance. No advanced knowledge of
painting is required. This workshop will cover the basic
techniques and you will practise
wrapping both boxes and bottles to
give a professional finish. You will
make bows and explore finishing
touches to reflect the season and a
variety of styles and you will pick up
useful tips on how to make the most of
your wrapping paper and ribbon.
Scissors, tape and a selection of paper
& ribbon will be provided. Participants
will need to bring items to wrap; tutor
will advise before the workshop.
Ring in the seasonal change in your
home with a autumnal flower
arrangement. Learn how to make a
beautiful autumnal basket using fresh
flowers and foliage. All materials will
be provided you just need to bring
scissors or secateurs.
