Over the duration of this 7 week drawing course you will challenge yourself through a range of drawing approaches and processes and by using a range of materials . These drawing explorations will be through both individual and group interaction and will include such concerns as : mark-making , composition , emotional force , meaning and interpretation . The aim of this course is to awaken our curiosity for the whole drawing process , expand the drawing experience , thereby enabling development in other creative outlets

First there is the ‘ Mark ’ and then the journey discovering your own drawing skills … perhaps forgotten or never been put to the test ! Through your own mark and response you will discover the importance of looking and feeling as you describe an object and its qualities . This 5 week course aims to enhance your confidence through experimenting using various materials , approaches and discussing their contribution to your own developing mark making vocabulary . The classes are aimed at complete beginners or those who have not practiced drawing in a while . It will build on experience week to week to enable you to enjoy your hidden talents .
