Through a series of creative projects
with weekly themes, this course will
look at digital photography from a
more indepth perspective. Aimed at
those with a camera which has a fully
manual shooting mode we will look at
really improving your photography
skills. This course will involve shooting
subjects in and around The Crescent,
editing using lightroom, shooting in
RAW and using fully manual modes.
Drawing inspiration from other well
known photographers this course will
improve your eye for a photo and your
technical skills. Students must bring a
digital camera to class.

methods to fit class level to meet the
needs of each individual student.

Would you like to make a film in 12
weeks? A practical and fun course in
short film-making, introducing every
aspect of the process and culminating
in the class production of a short film.
This will be a DIY film class for those of
all ages and experience, ideal for those
who want to gain a foundation in film-
making, or just have some fun making
a film. All equipment and materials
provided.

This course allows you to learn how to
paint what you see in its simplest form,
recognise a good subject and translate
it into a compelling watercolour. You
will develop simple watercolour
techniques in a way that is both
practical and inspirational. All aspects
will be covered, from the initial idea
and sketch to the finished work.
Throughout this course you will
experiment with lino printing, clay
hand building techniques, wet felting,
quilling and a Christmas fabric wreath
and bauble decorations. You will spend
2 weeks on each technique allowing
you to experience new materials and
skills. Materials are provided. Just bring
an apron and tea towel, have fun and
take home your creations!
