This course, designed for people with
very little or no experience of French,
will introduce you to the language and
culture, giving you the basic tools to
communicate on your next visit to
France. It will focus on speaking and
interacting in French, using everyday
situations such as meeting people,
eating out and asking for directions.

Improvers
This new series of fun conversational
classes are aimed at those who have
some knowledge of Irish. Your course
facilitator, Deirdre, has a wealth of
award-winning experience making
learning fun. Be prepared for an all-
engaging, whole body, mindful and,
probably, life-enhancing journey into
the shared Gaelic language culture. The
course will further develop your
everyday situational Irish,
pronunciation and move beyond the
basics and deepen your fluency and
accuracy.

This vibrant, ever-developing course
has been running now for over 16 years
and this term, if students choose, we
will be working towards an end-of-
term show, just before Christmas,
always an exciting, fun, and team-
building project. Do invite your friends
and family for a festive, fun
atmosphere. The course will include
developing skills in voice, movement,
improvisation and text work. All texts
provided by Rosie.

The course is designed to offer
students the ability to communicate
with Deaf people who use Sign
Language and aims to provide
information on Deafness – Deaf with
people – Deaf Community/Culture by
the end of the course – the students
should be able to communicate and
use the skills with Deaf people - a
course certificate will be given out at
the end of course.

French Level 4 is for those who already
have a very good command of the
French language (strong A level and
beyond). Interacting in French will be
the main focus of the class and you will
tackle topical issues as well as relevant
articles. Individual input is also very
welcome, so as to share the students’
interests. The course will be conducted
in a warm and friendly atmosphere, by
a native and fully qualified French
teacher from Monaco.
