class is suitable for both those wishing
to refresh their skills and for

and Techniques
During these classes you will develop
drawing and sketching skills and
strengthen your own artistic style. We
will cover a variety of techniques
during the class using both
observational drawing (including life
drawing) , and imaginative drawing.
Materials such as pencils, charcoal, ink
and paper will be provided but you
may wish to bring your own
sketchbook as well.

Introduction to
Paper Quilling

Learn how to produce beautiful
traditional Japanese pictures created
with liquid charcoal and colour ink.
Discover an amazing world of black
and white pictures of nature and
landscapes. No drawing or painting
skills required.

Learn a new skill as you discover the
beautiful art of paper quilling. This
course will enable you to learn the
basics of paper quilling and then
develop your skills to embellish a range
of items such as cards and boxes. You
will also have the opportunity to make
3D quilled objects.

blending and brush techniques,
composition, colour theory, layering,
light placement and more. Please bring
a high-quality image of a landscape
that inspires you. Materials are not
