Through a series of structured writing
exercises, this workshop will focus on
building depth and dimension to
characters in prose writing.
This workshop is designed for people
who would like to learn how to order a
meal in Italian. We will talk about food
and will discover some interesting facts
about Italian cuisine!

Accents can be a stumbling block for
many actors but this workshop will
give you some key tools to access
accents, applied to a selection of playtexts. Today’s workshop will focus on
R.P. (Received Pronunciation). Rosie is a
classically trained actor with over
twenty years’ professional experience,
playing leading classical and modern
roles. She has studied with many
accent coaches and performed a range
of accents on stage.

the pain out of editing and the mystery
out of query letters as we explore
aspects of getting your work ready to
send out and what to do when it's
ready to go. New writers are very
welcome, but participants should have
completed at least one piece of
creative writing (short story or longer).
Please bring an excerpt of around 1,500
words to the workshop.
