DanceFit
Pilates
DanceFit classes combine a number of
dance styles – Bollywood, burlesque,
hip hop, street and latin – and there is
something for everyone! This class uses
cardio and interval training with special
isolation for those hard-to-target
areas. A great workout to leave a smile
on your face and sweat on your brow.
This class is taught by Róise Connor, a
NeilPilates instructor, and is suitable for
beginners. Whether you want to
improve your posture, gain core
strength or tone up, Pilates’ slow,
controlled movements will help you
achieve your goal. Bring a yoga/Pilates
mat.

This open level movement/dance class
will focus on Somatic Practice where
attention will be given to the
sensations of dancing/moving and
developing the knowledge of the
soma; making movement more
authentic, internal and personalised.
The work will focus on bodily presence,
sensation, imagination,
creative/expressive/experiential
processes. In this fast hectic world it
will be a tonic to slow down and
deeply listen to what the body wants
and needs. The sessions will be
facilitated by tutor Sandy Cuthbert who
has a wealth of experience as a
professional dancer and practitioner
and is presently studying for an MA in
Dance and Somatic Well-being.
